Love & Vice’s 2nd Anniversary, and Something New!

The support and positivity isn’t something I expected, but I can’t express enough gratitude for it. All I can do is promise to continue working to see L&V finished. I have a plan for that, which I’ll outline to the best of my ability. But to start I just have to say thank you to you all once again!
This post is split into two, as on top of L&V, I have something new to reveal and talk about. I’m going to start with that first, since what I say about L&V won’t make much sense otherwise. And at the very end I’ve pre-empted some questions/concerns you might have, and my answers. But as ever I’d love to hear your thoughts about all this.
Part 1 - My Next Game
Long overdue I talk about this, seeing as I alluded to it very cryptically in last year’s anniversary post, and I owe it to you all to let you know what I’m up to. For some time now, I’ve been working on my next project in whatever time I could spare. As yet unnamed, and with no clear release date in sight, but I did put together a tiny teaser for this special occasion.

That’s right! Another bloody daz3d game. Truth is, one of the main reasons I made L&V the way I did was because I felt that the daz3d gobbo style was getting way over-saturated.
So what changed? Well to put it simply, I’ve put together a concept that I think warrants it. A kind of story you don’t often see in the niche, and combined with what I’ve learned developing L&V, I think it will stand out gameplay wise too. I know not all of you will be into this kind of character style, but I would say if you enjoy L&V you’ll find many similarities in this next game.
The switch to 3D rendering also provides me with a level of creative freedom I don’t currently have. So I can inflict upon you the neon light hellscape I always hinted at. It’s been a long and slightly painful process to learn, but I think I’m getting there.
Some Basic Info
Firstly, nothing is set in stone right now. Much of my plans are just a mess of diagrams and incomprehensible notes. I do have an intro script and a few hundred renders completed. Along with various characters that make up the early cast. The teaser above is one of the first you’ll meet, and as you can see, she’s a bit… different.
For clarity’s sake, I’ll refer to this project by the name “Project Goth Gobbos” [PGG] until I actually have a name to give it.
So what sort of game is it actually going to be? Here’s a basic outline:
- Sandbox, like L&V but streamlined
- Linear main story, with choices. Progressively unlocked by side content.
- RPG mechanics: character building and skills that have an impact and provide different ways of doing things
- Quests/Missions and stats to manage
- A cast of characters to interact with and romance
- A similar love/lewd progression system to L&V for characters
- Similar day to day events, and special story milestones for characters like L&V
In essence it’s very similar to L&V, with a few new extras. I’ve learned a lot over the last couple years, and I think I can do a much better job of the parts you’ve already seen. Very vague right now I know, but I’ll be sure to share more as it all comes together.
When???
So right now I’m just going to keep doing what I’ve been doing, which is working on PGG in my spare time alongside L&V. I’d very much like to have the first release out by Halloween of 2023, so roughly a year away.
This might be a tall order, alongside finishing L&V. So I’ll be adjusting as I go. Work on this project will likely ramp up as L&V gets closer to completion. I’ll just have to keep you all up to date over the next year.
Speaking of that, expect more details to appear as we go. Probably at complete random if I’m honest. One thing I can show off relatively early is some of the characters. I’ll probably introduce them one by one in dedicated posts, so you can provide your feedback and argue over which girl is best girl.
There’s a lot to go over with something like this, so make sure to check out the FAQ at the end, and don’t hesitate to provide your own questions if they remain unanswered!
Part 2 – Love & Vice’s Future
Now I want to make it clear that L&V is still my main focus. At least until it’s finished or close to being finished, depends on how both projects progress really. In an ideal world L&V will be done, or extremely close by the time Project Goth Gobbo is out.
So a quick recap on some intentions I’ve spoken about previously. All the characters I’m planning on adding to L&V are now present, save maybe a few guest appearances here and there. So really to finish the bulk of the content, it’s just a matter of filling out those present.
I think we’re at a pretty good number, and I’ve covered a variety of personalities. While I’m sure some of you would rather I work on L&V forever, it’s just not something I can really do. I’d like to get it to a nice place and bring it to an end rather than it just petering out. I’m going to do as much as possible to fill out the character end stages with a good selection of the things you have already seen in other characters.
Here’s a rough breakdown of the stages to bring us to completion.
- Bringing Fiona and Atonia to their end stages
- MC Office and Club Career story ends
- Filling out all main characters with endgame content
- Game + Character endings
- Remaster version (?)
All but the last are things I intend to get done over the coming year. Let’s go over each in turn.
Fiona and Atonia
This will make up the bulk of the releases coming over the next few months. Atonia will be brought to her endgame in R10, and Fiona will need one or two more releases to reach the same point.
This is pretty much what you’ve been seeing over the last few releases, so nothing new. I’ll still be throwing in some work on Lydia’s endgame, and doing polls for other stuff.
MC Job Ends
I intend for both jobs to have some story conclusion. This is something I’m probably going to fit in around all the other stuff. The club side will probably come with some work on Mel, and the office is directly tied into Atonia’s story, so you’ll see some more of that at her endgame.
Filling the Endgame
Once all the characters are in roughly the same spot, I’ll be free to focus entirely on this stuff. Think how I’ve recently added Lydia’s modelling content, and imagine a whole release dedicated to delivering multiple sets like this all at once. How I schedule this out is something to determine at the time.
Here will be the perfect opportunity to bring the general polls out of hiatus. That is, the ones that all supporters have access to. It’s going to be impossible to cover absolutely everything for all characters, so I’ll be looking to you guys to decide what stuff is most important, on a per-character basis.
Game + Character Endings
My current plan is to give you a whole load of choices to make regarding the MC’s future, and those of his romantic interests. Giant harem? Dedicating to your favourite? Knock em up? Hopefully you’ll have many options. And the overall ending will be constructed out of what you decide.
Remaster
Once everything is done, I’d like to give the game a good once over. Redo some of the old content, banish Jen’s clothing system to the deepest pit of hell (redo it, properly), and likely adjust some of the systems.
Basically I’d like to leave the game in it’s best state. I’ll probably call it something real stupid like the “gold edition” or something. I’m likely to throw out save compatibility for it, so I can do a load of under the hood work. Tidy up the code and fix some problems I currently cannot. Just to be clear, this comes after game completion, so you will be able to finish on your current saves!
Unlike the rest of what I’ve mentioned, this is a very long term thing. Likely something I’ll do in my spare time while I’m working on project gobbo. So I can’t promise when it’ll happen. Maybe it’ll just appear one anniversary down the line?
Conclusion and FAQ
So that’s what I’m working on, and my intended plan for the coming year. It’s quite a lot to get done, so we’ll see how it all goes. I hope the little teaser, and the plan itself caught your interest.

Questions/Concerns
Split Development?
This would probably be my first concern. But to come clean, I’ve been working on PGG for a year or so already. I guess you can look back over the last year of L&V’s development and judge for yourself if it’s had any negative impact.
As I said, L&V is still taking up the vast bulk of my time, and that’ll continue for a good while. Personally, I think having something else to work on has actually helped overall. It’s a nice outlet to stop me getting burned out.
I want x content in L&V and might not get it
Truth is, I can’t work on L&V forever. I won’t be able to do absolutely everything, but I’m going to give it a good shot. The best thing you can do to ensure I cover the basis you want, is to voice your support for it, and vote in the polls when they eventually become available.
Once Atonia and Fiona are at their end stages, I’ll be able to dedicate to producing content sets in a general sense. So you might see more than you think!
Tier benefits etc for new game?
I won’t commit to anything yet, but I’ll likely follow a similar model to what currently have. Cheat codes, polls, that kind of thing. One thing that will be possible in PGG is custom content, even if it’s just individual renders. I’ll probably be looking to provide that option to certain support tiers.
NTR content in new game?
Right now it seems likely I’ll take a similar approach to this sort of stuff in PGG as L&V. Optional, with the ability to disable if you wish. What sort of content? Well the sort of stuff you’ve seen, as part of the lewd/corruption route.
