Dev Update - R10 Progress #1

First off I’ll apologise for this post being a bit late. I’ve been working on numerous bits of content and a variety of fixes, and wanted to get it all implemented before I started sharing it. Things are overall proceeding very nicely, and I’ve managed to implement some much needed things. Here’s what I’ve put together so far.

Jen Content Fixes and Tweaks

To start off is some fixes. Firstly a new alternative start for the modelling career, which skips much of the initial requirements and steps. Unlocked once you level her up to love/lewd 1, it’s rather a rather quick and dirty event. Really just a means to fix the problem of certain early steps becoming impossible once you leveled her up. A long standing issue that I couldn’t fix properly without risking save comparability, so I just bypassed it completely with this alternative. Sorry it took so long! If you happen to be on a save locked out of this path, then R10 should open it up for you.

Next I’ve taken some steps to try (again) to squash issues with her clothing system, mainly that it’s still possible under certain circumstances to get locked out of progression. I’ve managed to make some tweaks behind the scenes that should fix some of this, but given this is like the 5th attempt to do so, I added in a redundancy system that you can use to bypass the traditional progression.

Now when you visit the general store, you can buy new gift cards. These work like any other gift, but grant a clothing level to Jen and unlocks the appropriate outfits. Again this is just another means to bypass the original system that should work regardless of circumstance. Until I get the chance to overhaul the game without worrying about save compatibility, I can’t really fix the underlying issues with the system. Once the game is complete I’ll be looking to completely change the whole system into something more robust. This might not be relevant to many of you, but should you happen to start a new save it might help you out!

Misc Fixes

Just quickly I’ll mention I’ve done a bit of work on the nav bars. Changed some of the icon images and moved things around a bit to hopefully make it a little easier to navigate around.

I’ve also overhauled the computer screen, a minor change but worth mentioning as I’ll be posting a screenshot on the discord so you can give your feedback. For sake of time I reused a lot of css you’ve probably already seen, so hopefully it’s not too unfamiliar. But If you find any of it looking a bit difficult to use (or you have a request/suggestion) please share and I’ll do my best to accommodate!

Lydia Gym Content

Now actual content. Like I mentioned in the last post, I’ve put together a set of gym content for Lydia. A selection of events, both MC focused and some NTR ones. A small teaser of the selection will be on discord.

I did ultimately decide to split Lydia’s remaining gym content in two. This means in R10 you’ll get the level 9 fitness content, with the level 10 content coming in a future release. The level 10 side is going to be a bit bigger, so it was just unfeasible to get the whole thing done in the span of R10. Should hopefully be plenty for now, and this hopefully means I have a bit more time to work on the rest of R10.

Atonia Content

I’m already deep into writing the mid stage party event, where you and Atonia will work together in the next stage of her plan. You’ll also get to catch up with some of the folks met in the last one. So a variety of scenes, and also several methods for getting the ultimate job done. More so than usual!

Overall Atonia’s content is going to be in much of the same format as last time. With an addition of the strip club job, which will likely be a small intro. Atonia is going to take up the vast majority of the rest of development, so I’ll keep you updated as I go.

High Tier Poll

For R10’s high tier poll, I’m looking to fill in a major gap in Jen’s content. You probably noticed the home content has a very limited selection once you finish levelling her up, and I’ve wanted to fix this for some time.

Of course I can only do so much with what’s already on the table for R10, so I figured I’d let a poll decide what sort of area gets a bit of love. Full details will be available in the poll itself, which should go up in a few days. So if you have access, keep an eye out for that. If not, well I hope you’ll appreciate the content once it becomes available :)

Once again I’ll thank you all for the generous support! I’m still planning on doing a big anniversary post at the end of the month, but I’ll probably do another general update post just before that. Things could get very busy, so be sure to keep an eye out ;)
