Dev Update R8 #3 – Progress + High Tier Poll Results

Back again, first I’ll apologize for this post taking a bit longer than usual. I wanted to wait for the high tier poll to finish, and I’ve been quite deep in the writing!

Happy to report once again that everything is on track. We’re looking at R8 being released between the 5th - 10th of the coming month. The whole month/two month cycle thing is working out pretty well, so this one should hopefully be worth the wait. Here’s what’s happened since the last post.

Atonia Story

Finished this off, remains largely as I previously reported it. The lewd event is a little on the short side compared to most, but I could easily imagine many of you celebrating this fact. I think it does what it’s supposed to, and I don’t want to pad for the sake of it. Just thought I’d mention this, in case it’s noticeable by the time it’s In your hands.

Atonia Party Content

Implemented and working, not much more to add other than the fact there will be a teaser screenshot on discord. So check that out if you are interested!

Atonia Home Content

This will be making up the bulk of the content work between now and release. I’ve already got a few done, and most are going to consist of you and her sneaking about behind her husband’s back.

This is where the mechanical additions will come in. It’s not finalized yet, but basically there should be a sort of suspicion system. With your actions increasing it, and hopefully in turn should make new ones available. We’ll have to see how deep this actually goes, depending on what’s feasible in the time remaining.

Jen’s Sister

So what’s the plan for Jen’s sister in the remaining time? There isn’t one… I’ve already made the content. I decided to switch it up while I implemented the Atonia content, and already have all the writing for Jen’s sister completed.

As it is all just an introduction, it consists of a few short story events, and a bunch of conversations you can have with her. Your chance to get to know her, learn about the relationship with her sister and all that. You’ll also get to brag about your own exploits so far in the game.

I hope you’ll be glad to hear this is also an opportunity to learn a little more about Jen as well. And I’ll be making sure to include her in the story as much as possible going forward.

One other thing I wanted to mention was the model choice. I’ll keep this secret until it’s out, but she is more unknown than most of the models we have so far. I ultimately made the choice because her vibe matched the character, and because of future content. But I will of course be more than willing to hear your honest feedback when it does finally come out.

High Tier Poll Results

Thanks to everyone who voted in the high tier exclusive poll. Jen’s option was the runaway winner, so I’ll be putting that together at some point in the coming weeks!

Looking Ahead

It’s pretty early for me to be talking about post R8, but I feel I have to warn you all that I have to take some time off once everything has calmed down after R8. I have to travel and put some time in with family. For upwards of two weeks, but maybe a bit less. Much like what happened back at Christmas.

Development will pretty much have to halt for that period, so the typical one month cycle .5 release won’t really be possible. In practice what will happen is another 2 month cycle but with a slightly lower dev time. Mostly likely I’ll still call it a .5, but what it will entail is still something to be decided. I’ll have more details on all of this closer to the time.

Hope you can all understand! Some time off might even do me some good. For now though, I’ll get back to working on R8. There might be another update post close to release date, just to confirm everything. But until then, thank you all for the generous support!
