Dev Update R7 #4 & Poll Results

Hello everyone. This is likely the last dev update post before R7 is finally released. Maybe I’ll put up a confirmation of the date, not sure. I’m very confident in the 2nd May as I said last time. So if you don’t hear anything, expect it to just pop up around that time. Now onto what I’ve been working on, and some chat about the poll.

Story

I’ve got this all finished up, again as a reminder: 2 story events per route with a shared intro (with variance). So 5 total. I think this is the first time I’ve ever been completely happy with how they all turned out. So I hope you will all enjoy them more than ever.

Christine Events

I’m currently working on this. For now it will still use the favour system. I’m making use of the extra time of the delay to do more here than last time. Hopefully that trip to town and back will be all the more worth it ;)

Of course there is also the bonus shower scene that was voted for, already done. So If you like Christine, you are in for plenty to do with her this time around.

I’ll also take this chance to say that, looking into the future, I’d like the next batch of Christine content to have some story events. Give her the finale she deserves of sort. This is outside the scope of R7, but I wanted to let you know since there are constant requests. It’s coming, it’s just a matter of when.

Poll Results – Jen’s Sister

Thanks to everyone who voted in the poll. Below are the results, from across the whole support base and combined into one.

Now, what do we learn from this? Absolutely nothing! I joke of course, but there’s almost an even split. Interestingly, the high tiers favoured the 40s option whereas everyone else was much more in favour of the 30s.

So what does this tell me? Well combined with the commented feedback, I’d say either is a viable option, and I should just do whichever I think is best. If there was a clear favourite, I would have to strongly consider it.

So now It just comes down to me picking a good model, and getting the character all planned out. I’ll be introducing her whenever it fits into the release schedule, but I don’t think it will be that long a wait. And I’m likely to do so much in the same way other’s have been, that is alongside some content for another character. Seeing as the introduction stages are slow paced and lacking the good stuff.

So I’ll likely return next with R7 itself. Until then, thank you all for the support, and your patience!
