Dev Update R7 #2

Been a little while! I honestly didn’t have much to talk about until recently, and when I did I figured it best to wait for the high tier poll to close and roll everything up into one. So here’s what I’ve been doing, and what’s coming!

Party Content

Content wise it’s basically finished. I might have to add some bits here and there once it’s all together and tested. Just the code work to be done, then hopefully I’ll have some kind of sneak peek for you. Thankfully getting it all up and running should be much faster than last time.

As expected it’s working out to be a comparable amount to the first time around. Plenty of endings that should hopefully give you plenty reason to go back and do things differently.

Gallery

As it stands, I’ve got the gallery functional with all of Jen’s story content. A screenshot should be available on the discord soon after this post, so head over there to check it out if you’re interested.

I suspected getting content into the gallery would be a slow and tedious process, and it is. So for the sake of not spending too much of R7 dev time on it, it’s likely that only Jen’s story content will be available for now. I’ll keep adding to it with further releases.

If there is any particular content outside of the story you want to see in the gallery, please let me know! It would help immensely to prioritize the work.

Lydia Strip Club/Extra Stats

I’ve already begun work on the general sandbox content for Lydia, but I wanted to mention the club specifically as I’m going to start introducing some extra stats for her. Similar to what you’ve seen for Jen. I guess it should be pretty easy to work out what I’m on about, thought it will only be the start for now ;)

Poll Results etc

Huge thanks to all the high tier patrons that voted in their exclusive poll. It was a close one, but the bonus Christine content has won and will be included in the coming release. Results are below.

As promised, there will be a normal poll going up shortly after this post to help me make some decisions regarding a future character. So make sure to go and vote!

Release Window

I’m looking to get this all done and out for around the 20th. Another long wait, but with all the Lydia content that is now available it’s rather unavoidable. It’s an important point in the story for her, so hopefully the wait will be worth it.

Thank you all for your support, and patience. For now I’ll be focusing on living up to the expectations set by the last couple releases. Expect at least one more dev update post before release time rolls around.
