I was in no way, shape, or form emotionally prepared to learn about the way elephants were treated today so I am very fucked up about this, but I wouldn't have it any different. Good on you for choosing a much better elephant sanctuary, Casual Geographic! I want to go Thailand one day because I’m into combat sports and would love to experience a Muay Thai training camp. Now I have a second reason to go. I officially want to experience the same elephant sanctuary you went to. Also, off topic. But I was curious if you could tell the story one day in a video about the pelican that almost turned you into Nick Fury. I saw that video a while back about the Chimp at the Senegal zoo where the stupid people kept throwing rocks at the chimp and the chimp threw them back at the crowd and almost got you. So I would just imagining how crazy the pelican story is. Lol. Big fan of yours, CG. Been following you for a few years now. Proud to be a supporter of you. Keep up the great work, buddy!

Specifically, your videos about chimps. See, after watching those vids about chimps, I thought, "Naaah, chimps can't be 100% psycho 100% of the time. Not realistic." So I searched YT for, "chimps being wholesome," and then for, "baby chimps playing." What came back on that second search included (1) The infamous pet-baby-macaque channels; (2) Vids about why it's a Bad Idea to keep a primate as a pet; and (3) Expose channels about YouTube's addiction to animal abuse. YT has ZERO PROBLEM with channels full of videos of baby macaques screaming nonstop for 10 minutes. And I don't need to tell you why that sort of thing isn't, "a temper-tantrum," but a sign of off-camera abuse. But I'm not writing this novel to give you another thing to film about. I'm doing it to tell you that ScrewTube is a Massive Pile of Steaming, Reeking Hypocrisy that is profiting off of people who film highly-staged nonsense with infant primates who are definitely being abused when the camera shuts off. The fact that __you__ needed to censor the word, "abuse" while YouTube leaves up and monetizes these baby-monkey channels __infuriates__ me. But back to the topic at hand: GOOD ON YA for picking a sanctuary that's actually a sanctuary and not pulling shady crap behind the scenes.
