Messing with the editor. (a little teaser and banter)

So, our dear editor, (Sleepygirl, or SG for short) and I, had a talk about adding her in as a character, or a character based on her would be more accurate. Since a large part of the characters in these stories are based on people her and I both know IRL, it seemed easy enough. So the two of us created a character for her named Catalin, or Cat for short.
The character pic is attached. We worked hard on finding an actress that embodied the personality and dry snark that she has and I think we did a good job.
As such I of course added the character to an upcoming story, specifically "Settling in - Part 3" (I think. been a long week). Needless to say this took our dear, suggestible editor by surprise...

Story: " If she was anything like the other ‘reader girls’ that he had met over the years, she was probably so deeply engrossed in her book that she wouldn’t even notice his approach."

SG:  i resemble that remark :oP

NOTE: This character is literally her

Story: " The most she did was adjust her position to allow for better lighting…and then turn the page. "

SG:  i'd like to think i wouldn't be that oblivious

NOTE: She still has not realized that the character in question... is her. Speaking of oblivious...

Story: " As they did, the words on the page started to shift from one color to the next as the hypnotic energy of the orb merged with the ink, turning the very words the young woman was reading into a hypnotic orb that would draw her in even more deeply. "

SG:  ooooh...ok, well, that would pretty much knock me flat...

NOTE: She has still not figured out this is her character... and the induction is designed to be something that would work on her.

Story: " Every word she read just seemed to pull her deeper into the story. The world around her faded away as the world in the story took its place. Her shoulders relaxed as her posture began to loosen and a soft moan escaped her lips."

SG:  i had to read through this one a few times...kept getting dazed i think

Note: Our dear editor is getting a little fuzzy at this point...

Story: " Nothing else matters, just the words and the story, all real and vivid in your mind. You can feel that now, can’t you miss?"

SG:  yeah...wait, dammit

Note: responding to questions asked to characters... not a good sign for our dear editor.

Story:  “Catelyn…”

SG:  oh...damn, that's me (it honestly didn't register at first)

Note: Enlightenment... but don't worry, knowing the character is her is only going to mess with her more.

Story: " Someone who could help you to…feel…everything you’ve ever dreamed about feeling…isn’t that right Cat?”

Sg:  uh huh

Me:  And this is where our editor stopped editing... and fell into a legitimate state of hypnosis.

SG:  and still kept trying to edit and/or comment even though she was very very tranced out

Story:  “You're in a very different kind of story now, Cat. A deep, hypnotic story…have you ever been hypnotized Cat?” he asked as he kissed her cheek softly."

SG:  yeah..i definitely think im more than a little out of it

Note: Poor SG didn't have much left in her at this point...

Story: “You're hypnotized now…under my spell…completely helpless. You can realize that now, can’t you Cat?”

SG: Yesss

Note: and this were intrepid young editor slipped away to live out the rest of the story from her own personal perspective, having surrendered to the trance that was aimed at her fictional avatar... but that knocked her out completely. She texted me about 2 hours after this to comment that she might need a little more time on this one =cP
I'm good with giving it to her... how about you?
