Just a bit over 13k words (so right in the middle of the 10-15k range I am aiming for with these installments), featuring more backstory on the original discovery of the charm, on the main character's interest and motivations for using it on himself, and the beginning of his transformation. Hope you enjoy!
If anyone is wondering why I changed the color of the 'magical energy' on the cover of the story, it has to do with something you'll read about in this installment. If anyone wants me to re-release the PDF for the first part of the story with the updated cover image for that part, let me know.
