Wait, Actually.... Can you guys help me decide?

So, before I go ahead and post Parts One and Two of FINDERS KEEPERS, do you guys mind weighing in here?

FINDERS KEEPERS (all together) is at 23500+ words so far. You can see the image above for the proof. I anticipate that with everything I have planned for the story, the final count will probably be something between 60 and 80k. For reference, a 200 page novel usually comes out somewhere around 60k words.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and admit that I'm not very good at writing SHORT stories. I'm much better at writing lengthy, complex stories with lots of characters and multiple chapters ... and multiple transformations throughout the course of the story. That's why all of my stories come out as 'Part One of X'.

The problem is, once I publish 'Part One of X', Part Two and Part Three aren't quite as interesting any more because I've already showed you guys the hook, or the theme of the story, and now I wanna move on to the next idea and show that to you guys.

It's easier for me to keep writing a story from start to finish if I just.... keep writing it. Instead of stopping to publish Part One once I hit 15-20k words, just keep going until the story reaches a natural end point, say 50k, or 80k, or whatever.

But what would you guys prefer I do?

If you guys want, I can keep doing things the way I have been, publishing serial shorts and trying to finish a series eventually and collect it into an all-in-one volume, OR, if you like, I can switch to writing full length, novella or novel-length stories and publish those when they're actually done so that you don't have to wait between installments.

If I do that, it will probably delay the release of FINDERS KEEPERS by at least two weeks and maybe as much as a month, but I think you'll enjoy the end result of being able to read the entire story at once, and not have to buy the individual little pieces, much much more.

I'll include a follow-up poll so that you can all vote on this. Meanwhile, I'll keep working on FINDERS KEEPERS.

Wait, Actually.... Can you guys help me decide?
