Let’s chat about the “impending doom” of Youtube’s new policy about ad placement. If you follow the ASMR community even a little bit, I’m sure you’ve heard of this. While I definitely plan to sign and share the circulating petitions, what else can we do? What ideas do you have? I’ve seen fellow ASMRtists come up with some good ideas, but I’d like to prioritize your feedback. So please feel free to sound off below or send me a private message! We will absolutely get through this and I will not view this as a discouragement 💪💗🥰

I have always wished that Youtube had a setting that made it so that only silent/ASMR-style ads could roll on my videos. Maybe someday :)

You tube is becoming almost unwatchable if you aren’t sat next to your device while it plays, mid roll adverts that don’t automatically cut off etc etc. Maybe there is a market for ASMR adverts specifically to be shown during videos, maybe speak to people who sponsor your videos if that’s something they can follow up? No idea really, just spitballing.
