Beyond the Rainbow is INCREDIBLE!!! Glad someone likes it as much as I did! I definitely think it had much better and more complex production than the other 3 songs on their pre-release. I think I was a bit softer on them than you for the stuff I didn't like as much because I am super attached to the members after watching the show. I agree that Boom Boom Boom is RUINED by overuse of vocal processing super aggressively. Baby I'm A Star is the theme song for their show, so the 3 second soundbyte of BABY IM A STAR is probably all that mattered to the producer to transition from commercial to gameplay. Thanks for giving their album a shot!

2020-07-16 22:47:39 +0000 UTCBeyond the Rainbow is definitely my favorite on the mini album too. Boomx3 gets a lot of criticism for the aggressive auto-tune. I wish they had dialed it back a bit. And I think Baby I'm a Star sounds like that since it was the theme song for the second season of their show. They added the verses around the theme song part, so the chanting bit sounds a little out of place. Regardless, I think this is great for a pre-debut release and I can't wait for the full debut.
