Updated Patreon Goals
Added 2019-07-28 03:15:42 +0000 UTCWe've updated some of our Patreon goals. There were two primary reasons behind this.
First, we didn't realize that patreon goals were cumulative. That is, if our first goal was $20 for monthly server costs, and the next goal was $50, it meant that the second objective only required $30. We've re-calibrated our goals to account for this.
Second, we've continued to see heavy growth over the last month requiring us to upgrade our servers faster than anticipated. What we had considered as nice-to-have has become a must-have given our rapid growth. In the event that we need to further upgrade our servers, we plan to do so by paying out-of-pocket to ensure continued service, but this may not be sustainable over long periods. If such an event does occur, we will keep you posted.
