Lovely Kazzy, you always brighten my day. I love your passion to help the disenfranchised. I've been in jail not prison but I remember one time the tap water was brown, fortunately they brought water from an outside source. Even in the jails, where you are held without being found guilty or not you are still held. It's all a money scheme. They let you "do work" for like 10 cents an hour. Unless you have money you will rot in there and break and plead guilty just to get out of there. That's how they make their money. I don't know if you'd like an anime but there is one based on private for profit prisons taken to the extreme called Deadman Wonderland. Minus the supernatural stuff I see our prison industrial complex heading in that direction.
