I'm thinking there could be a third option for Grogu -- return to the Mandolorian for a time and then return when he's ready to begin his Jedi training. According to some legends, Yoda himself was already an adult when he began his Jedi training and had been working as a trader before immersing himself in the Jedi way. Grogu himself could immerse himself in Mandolorian culture before reclaiming his Jedi heritage. Plus -- although this was a thousand years ago, wasn't the creator of the Dark Sabre "both Mandolorian and Jedi"? Things have changed, sure, but it's still possible to be a child of two worlds.
