Those Bantha were a combination of creative movie magic. There was some CGI, some animatronics and some puppeteering. The scenes where the Bantha were just walking alone, or in the distance were CGI. If there was someone riding it, it was animatronics/Motion Base. And scenes which required actor interaction, those were using puppeteers.
I didn't really like the introduction of the mod Vespa speeder bike gang. They just seemed out of place. It's obviously a throwback to 60s British subculture, even down to the dozen mirrors/headlights on the front of the bikes. I just thought that it was an odd introduction of something very specific, that we've never seen in the Star Wars universe before. Even the clothing looked out of place. And I had trouble getting past the fact that 'there was no work' and they had to steal water, but they were able to afford the fancy speeder bikes and get EXPENSIVE cybernetic modifications done to their bodies.
There are so many characters in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett that are literally being brought to life from the cartoons, comics, novels and animated series, like The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch. Black Krrsantan is a perfect example, as he was only known previously through the comics. However, other characters are getting their first live-action screen time as well, such as Ahsoka Tano, Bo-Katan Kryze, Fennec Shand, and Cobb Vanth.

That makes PERFECT sense to me. I agree - he's probably much more interested in building a new family 💜

If there's one common theme in Star Wars, it's the concept of family. The films largely focus on the Skywalkers, while "The Mandalorian" examines the "found family" of Mando and Grogu (and the friends they make on the way). "The Book of Boba Fett," however, looks at the tragic side of family. Boba was originally created by Jango Fett and the cloners of Camino to continue the Fett line -- but he lost his father when he was a child. He likely made efforts to find a new family or clan later on, but because of his dangerous line of work, he tends to lose people on a regular basis. Joining the Tusken Raiders was probably the closest he ever got to having a family -- but that didn't last very long. Now, he seeks to build a crime family, with an emphasis on "family." It's telling that he tends to save or recruit potential rivals and bring them to his side -- Fennec Shand, the two pig-like soldiers, the biker gang, even the Wookie. He also doesn't seem to have much of an interest in the trappings of power, but is very interested in forming a bond with the Rancor. For someone who's lost as much family as Boba has over the years, building a new family probably means much more to him than any of the power or money his new position could bring him.
