2021-12-13 00:25:23 +0000 UTCJack Nicholson had two careers. His working actor career and his movie star career which was kickstarted with Easy Rider. That sort of began his run. In that regard Chinatown is definitely one of his early starring vehicles. So fair to call this early in his career from that point of view. I would consider Pulp Fiction early 8lin Sam Jackson's career in that same regard.

2021-12-12 19:42:26 +0000 UTCVery early in his career, this movie put Jack Nicholson on the map, cemented his reputation as to go to for contemporary actors at the time. It is a good idea if you see someone crying to ask them if it's because of their hair.
