Citizen Kane top the 10 greatest movies list for decades. Orson Welles was lauded as genius director he went on to make several other influential films but this is considered the best of his work. And apropos of nothing - Magic Johnson wasted the worlds best porn name on a basketball career.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest films ever made, if not the greatest, Citizen Kane was groundbreaking both technically and artistically. Welles direction and use of the camera explored entirely new possibilities in film. It's not going too far to say that modern cinematography begins with Citizen Kane.
