What a cliff hanger!

Honestly the story was a little lacking to me even though I enjoyed it. Something bad is coming. Kang is coming. From the comics possible the most evil of all Marvel villains and there is just not one of him there are many. Acting saved the story progression. There was some conflict of vision between the writer and director. The director changed the final episode and dropped some shot scenes because she wanted to give more screen time to Jonathan Major, He Who Remains. He actually got this casting before they casted him as Kang for Ant Man 3. The director let him improvise his actions and lines for this episode. He was only suppose to be a post credit scene. Here you have it, the Marvel multiverse is here. They are now free to tell any story and not be constrained by one canon. Be afraid. Kang is coming!

Robert Kelly

Here's my theory: He Who Remains (played by Jonathan Majors of Lovecraft Country) was the most pragmatic surviving version of himself, an ends justifies the means type person who didn't want war but did what he believes he had to do to prevent catastrophic chaos. But he is just one variant of himself, and Majors has already been announced as having been cast has his more well-known in the comics version, Kang the Conqueror. Without He Who Remains to stop them, in an infinite number of possiblities there will be an infinite number of Kangs who could potentially reach the end of time, take over from He Who Remaiins, then go back in time to remake the TVA at it's very beginning in his own image. That is the reality that Loki returned to, a multiverse that without pruning has grown exponentially since beings existed in it that could take different paths at the same crossroads. Even if every possible split point had only 2 possibilities, after only 10 decisions there are 1024 realities, and after 20 there are 1,048,576, and so on. After just 100 either-or choices, there are 12,676,506,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 possible realities. Most of those would be so similar that 99.9999..... % of people wouldn't recognize the difference, only if any of the choices made specifically affected them, while others would wildly diverge. Now, in Marvel, some of those realities are going to die off for one reason or another, some are going to thrive and become dominant over others, and so on, each with it's own potential Kang Who Remains, until a new one reaches the top and imposes their agenda on all the others (like the TVA), remaining there by pruning any who threaten to challenge them like an infinite version of King of the Mountain. Or, like, the previous HWR, they could just prune any and every other timeline before it can become a true threat. If you really want to melt your brain, throw more dimentions in beyond the 4 we can observe (3d space plus time, but without any control over our position on the time dimention), and you get beings we can't even really comprehend much less challenge.

Best Marvel show ever !! That guy you saw is a very big bad that will haunt the MCU going forward. Without saying too much for people who didn't see ( and not naming him ) , that person could be a bigger threat than Thanos going forward..Great reaction !
