I definitely see the similarities between the comic book Super Heroes and Watchmen, and also the Seven in The Boys. I appreciate the societal corruption they're poking fun at - I feel Joker did a good job at that as well. I am fairly sensitive so this will be an interesting watch for me. It won on the poll on You Tube months ago and I promised to watch whatever won, after I finished The Mandalorian. So here I am 😂😂😂

I love Watchmen too and there's a very good reason why this reminds you of that. Both are gritty/reality takes on the DC universe with some changes as they couldn't use the actual heroes. Watchmen originally starred the "Charlton" comics heroes (Doc Manhattan is basically Captain Atom, Nite-Owl is Blue Beetle and Rorshach is The Question). Similarly The Seven in the Boys are basically the Justice League (who are often referenced as the Big 7 - Homelander/Superman, Black Noir/Batman, A-Train/TheFlash, QueenMaeve/Wonder Woman etc.). The Boys is more parody and in the show they also threw a bunch of social media/corporation digs into the mix. It's generally more grounded than the comics, but still pretty shocking for anyone used to the good ol' PG rated superhero movie stuff. Hope it doesn't get too bad for you, but if it's a consolation it does make for some great reactions :)

Thank you so much, Carlo! Exactly 😂. These were NOT the Supes we were looking for 🤣🤣🤣. I've never read the comic book! I was shocked that these guys are so HORRIBLE! It reminds me a bit of my favorite Superhero movie called Watchmen. Have you seen that? I LOVE that movie. I don't want to say anything about that movie in case I give away spoilers to you 🙏🏼💜

These aren't the superheroes we were looking for... ! 🤣🤣🤣 I was looking forward to this reaction! I loved this series and I truly love the comic book! One of the best comics series ever IMO! In this universe all superheroes are dark, disgusting, corrupt criminals, perverts and jerks. It's also a political series. You said it reminds you your favorite movie of superheroes, now I'm curious to know what it is! Anyway, I loved you're reaction to this as always, keep it up Kazzy!!! 😊💙

Thank you, Joe 💛🙏🏼. This show won on the poll on You Tube. It was between The Boys, The Clone Wars, Firefly, and Cobra Kai. Even though The Boys won, I'm still going to watch the others, ahaha! This show is so worthwhile, just like you said. But yes, it's not an easy watch. It's so political and disgusts me in so many ways...kind of like today's politics 😂. And the show reminds me of The Matrix a bit, insofar that everyone sees these Supe's as extraordinary beings. But in truth, they're not. The Matrix comes to mind because when you take one pill, you see life for how THEY want you to see it. Then if you take the other pill, you see life for how it truly is. I'll also be watching Wanda Vision starting this Friday, so hopefully that will be a bit of a reprieve in between watching The Boys every week 😂

Oh, Kazzy... I'm not sure what you got yourself into. "The Boys" is a GREAT show, but so unlike ANYTHING you've watched on your channel before. It won't be an easy watch, but it is so worthwhile.
