***Patron Request*** JAWS Full Length Watch Along

So.... I thought I had scene JAWS, or scenes from it, but I realized I'd only seen one scene and most of what I remember about JAWS was actually the sequels I saw... so this is basically a FIRST TIME REACTION! Enjoy! - Kazzy

I agree, it really is a funny movie....a lot of great comedic moments. Yes, I have heard that about the USS Indianapolis and that it's a true story. Very, very sad

I'm glad you did this. Every time I watch this it reminds me of how funny it is, something most people forget. On a non funny note. I am sure the regular youtube comments pointed this out but the USS Indianapolis story is basically true. Survivors became very emotional and thanked the movie makers to bringing to light the story

Ah gotcha

Yes, it is, Jimmy 😀. You're supposed to sync up your Jaws movie with my time code, so we can watch it together - so you can see how I react to what you're watching in Jaws 😀✌🏼💜

Is the movie supposed to be blurry and muted?

Ahahaha!! For some reason, I personally thought this movie was quite terrifying. I guess I'm in the minority though 😂. Such a fantastic movie 👍🏻🔥. Thank you explaining the orange buoys to me, I really appreciate that, Dave 🤗. That makes perfect sense to me now ✌🏼💛

Kazzy, again, I got more shocks from seeing your reactions than from watching the film! To answer your question about the orange buoys, they weren't meant to be able to see the shark better. It is an old whaling technique. They were being used for a two-fold purpose. First, to reduce the depth that the shark would be able to dive. Second, to wear out the shark by creating drag. The more buoys being attached, the more drag/resistance.

LOVED this movie!! 🔥🔥🔥

The great WATCH shark! :)

Thank you so much, Moto Dork! I had a REALLY fun experience watching this movie. I'm so HAPPY I finally saw this film. What a true classic. It's so easy to see why this movie is so highly revered. That scene freaked me out, ahahaha! Spielberg definitely did an excellent job...the man is so talented 🔥🔥🔥

I agree.....it's incredible 🔥🔥🔥🙏🏼❤

Just finished and this was very satisfying to watch along with you. JAWS is my #2 all time favorite film. I think this film is ALMOST a perfect film. I'm so glad I picked a film you've never seen. And I was very happy to see the Ben Gardner scene (where his head pops through the hole in the boat hull) got a scream and a jump out of you, which was exactly the way Spielberg wanted it to be. :-)

JAWS is one of the greatest movies ever made. It still holds up today in my opinion. I remember when I was eight my uncle rented this movie at the library and I remember watching this movie and being terrified as hell. It made me not want to go into the ocean again every time I go to Florida. But, I do it anyway cause I got to face the fear. Steven Spielberg did an amazing job directing this film. He is the greatest filmmaker of all time in my opinion. I’m a big fan his work. No shark movie has ever topped JAWS since then. I’m glad that you enjoyed it and it was fun watching along with you. Looking forward to more of you’re watch along movies and TV shows ❤️🙏🏻🤗

Ahahahahaha!! Joe, you're hilarious!! 😂😂😂 Of course you went swimming after seeing this in the theater, LOL. I realized while watching this that I have only seen JAWS 4, from start to finish. The one where Roy Scheider's son is full grown and his mom is looking after her grandkids (his children). This was my first time seeing JAWS and oh my....what a GREAT movie. I can't believe it's only rated PG 🤣🤣🤣

Sweet dreams 🙏💛

Jaws 2 has Schieder, but it and the 3rd and 4th are AWFUL. The first is the only one worth your while. It's just one of the very best films of all time. FUN FACT: This was shot on Martha's Vinyard and, living now in Boston, I know a bunch of folks who were in the beach crowd scenes. SILLY ANECDOTE: I grew up on Virginia Beach. We saw this in the theaters, grabbed a pizza, then went swimming because we knew sharks were always in the water anyway. So it was a great film, but didn't keep us off the beaches!

Awesome! I’ll watch along tomorrow. But first, sleep.
