I was just giving info. No agenda or message or lecture or anything. I'm not the best communicator either, hence the reason I never post. 🤷♀️🐾😔

I'm just talking about why these designer or purebred dogs don't live as long as "mutts", and why so many of them need homes.

2025-02-04 02:01:24 +0000 UTCJust an FYI: :) A lot of dogs are in rescue because they are over bred and they have genetic issues or because they were used for breeding only (puppy mills). English and Frenchie Bulldogs are perfect examples. There is talk in the English BD community if they should even be bred anymore, because of their breathing, skin, eye, joint, and hip issues. Bulldogs have to have c-sections to give birth and have other human intervention, hence the high price to buy a puppy. $3000+. Not all English or Frenchie's have these problems, and these dogs are amazing companions, with the best personalities. You do have to be educated on them, and they shouldn't be bred with other breeds for Frankenstein dogs that people think are cool and can sell for a lot of money. People just need to be ethical, moral and compassionate when it comes to dogs, but they don't have it with humans, so why do we expect it towards animals?
