How long can you safely leave a permanent slackline set up?
Added 2022-07-06 14:14:40 +0000 UTCPATRONS: worked on this until the last minute so couldn't do early access but our big project right now is How NOT 2 Big Wall course and we are putting tons of thought into it before shooting to be even better than our last course. New website design is mocked up in photoshop and all coding is done. I'm just looking for a fiverr type person to do the actual making of the site so I can focus on editing what I have in the queue. I'm also working on a labjack load cell for a full mobile slack lab enabling better "real rock" type videos. I appreciate your support. Literally keeps this thing going at this point.
How safe is your webbing if you permanently leave it set up. Wade Desai and Marshall Leaver from Steel City Slackers have a perma-line up in west virginia and when they replaced the webbing, Wade sent it to me and I tested it. It had a segment connection in the middle, it was up for 2 full seasons, I tested the sewn loops and the most used parts of the webbing. Until I finish the website with the new blog system, here are the results:
FYI: In all samples, the webbing broke in the back of the weblock
