2023-12-18 06:07:26 +0000 UTCI have neuropathy from having cancer twice and I drank with gabapentin. I’m also a nurse and I honestly wouldn’t say the interaction between the the gabapentin and alcohol is something we tend to see as a problem- not like other meds.

2023-12-16 22:45:50 +0000 UTCi am team sutton in the esophagus war! i have issues with swallowing too. not what sutton has, it’s related to other stomach issues, but i have to drink 2/3 of my meals daily. smoothies, nutritional drinks like boost… my care team advises it’s the same as eating solid food even though it doesn’t seem like it. :( i don’t really drink alcohol and it has no correlation with drinking. my brother is a liver transplant patient and he has to do the same with the drinks. he gets the balloon thing too so he can eat more. he is an alcoholic tho so not sure how much that helps, lol.
