the word was initially and for a long time spoken as a kind of insult, but it has been claimed as a way to encourage & empower over the years. It's used affectionately often now. Also, the brother's version is an acronym I believe so that's different as well

Isn’t a dork something negative? I’m not a native but seems offensive even if you’re spelling it differently 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Thank you for putting this on YouTube! It's easier to keep track of in my Watch Later list like I do After the Final Pop.

In light of this discussion, I’d like to think that after the war, Harry gave Draco back his wand as like a kinda “peace offering” 😊 … Would that work, though? Like would the wand “accept” that “peace offering” & turn its allegiance back to Draco? 🤔

Yes, I think so. I think Krum’s wand was made by Gregorovitch, another wandmaker besides Ollivander, so sure he had a wand shop somewhere, right? 🤔

I always wondered how Olivander could have made a wand specifically for Wormtail. Does the whole “wand choosing the wizard” thing not matter if the wand is made with a specific wizard in mind? Or did Voldemort not care if Wormtail got a wand that had chosen him, only that he had a useable one at all?

Great discussion brothers!
If one goes to Olivander’s seeking a second wand, would you walk out with the one you need, not the one you want?
Is that why there is more than one wand store?
