First batch of finished mini paintings

Hello my dears,

While I did not manage to paint as many of these little guys as I was hoping to this week (my expectations of myself are too much to live up to most of the time, and yet, I haven't learned to adjust them), I did complete a little over half of them, so here they are!

As I mentioned previously, the aim with these is not to come up with whole new fresh concepts, this is mostly an exercise in painting small.

Someone said to me on Insta that they felt like "old school Myriam", which make me chuckle! I can see how, haha

Here's what frame each of them is destined for :

I will be keeping the gold frames as is, and I have 4 more coaster pieces to paint.

If you saw my instagram poll, you'll know that I have qualms about the silver frames.
I have ultimately decided to leave the oval frame as is, as, as many of you pointed out, it seems to work quite well with the eye ripples, but I do want to modify the frame for the heart.

I will try tarnishing it, as it is silver plated, and if that doesn't work out, I will spray paint it black.

So that's the plan for these.

I still have 8 paintings to go, which I am hoping to finish next week while also starting work on my bigger pieces again.
