Stranger Things Painting Progress

Hi peeps, 

The last couple of weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind because of the calendar launch, uploading a Youtube video and doing a livestream, so not much painting happened, but I did manage to get back into it this week, so here's my progress.

I focused on the Stranger Things piece as I would really like to have it launched before Halloween. 

It's also a less scary piece to paint than the other gazillion ones I have on the go...XD

There is still much to do, but I have managed to get near done with Vecna. I have always had such a love for painting organic textures and he is the epitome of texture, haha.

The fact that I am referencing a character sculpted and painted by ex-colleagues of mine is extra special, and they seem to be liking my work so far, which is quite validating :).

I am now moving to painting Max and she is much more difficult to paint, so fingers crossed this works out!

I hope you don't mind me working on a piece that isn't an original concept. This is injecting a welcome amount of levity and freshness into my practice and counter-balancing the more mentally draining nature of my personal pieces. 

It is also a good portfolio exercise, and, I am hoping, a good way to reach a new audience and grow my platforms (especially in the face of the reach issues we are having with Insta). 

I promise I am working on original pieces as well, and I will be moving onto those very soon.

PS : I finally managed to get all the rewards from the last couple of months printed, after having some supply issues, and I will be aiming to have them all packaged and shipped before the end of the month. My apologies for the delays!
