Stickers - Update + Question

I don't know how interesting the info in this post will be but I am mostly making it in the interest of transparency and generally keeping you in the loop regarding the products I offer on here and send you per your tiers. 

✦ Sticker Paper Issues

So if you saw my posts about physical rewards the last few days, I was having some issues with the paper I use to print stickers. 

Namely, I was getting vertical stripes across the stickers when printing solid colour on glossy vinyl paper, as you can see below. 

The stripes were very thin, and mostly visible when playing with the light, but they really bothered me.
I initially thought they were from my printer, so I went through all the cleaning processes they recommend, but the stripes remained. It took me a lot of time, research and experimentation to finally figure out that my printer wasn't the problem, it was the paper I was using. 

I am not exactly sure why the paper would suddenly behave that way, especially since I have used it for about 2 years now with no issues, but I have now tested a number of other similar glossy vinyl papers from other brands and they work just fine. So clearly, it is the paper that is not agreeing with my printer.

I managed to find a replacement, so you may notice a slight difference in finish and thickness in future stickers.
My usual paper still works fine for outline-only designs, so I will continue using it for those until I run out, so don't worry if you get 2 stickers that feel a little different from each other.

✦ Alternate Sticker Paper Finishes : Input Needed!

When I was in the process of trying to figure out what was going wrong with my stickers, I ordered a number of different papers with different finishes from various suppliers, including Matte Vinyl Paper. 

I ended up really liking the texture and finish of the Matt Paper!
It makes the stickers look a little closer to their real-life sketch, and picks up a bit more detail, as you can see below.

Would you be interested in me printing a few designs on the Matt paper instead of the Glossy paper every now and then to create a bit more variety in the products you get?

✦ Size Experimentation 

My final note is just to warn you that the stickers might vary a little more in size in the coming months as I want to experiment with how many I can fit on a page and what formats fit in my packaging.
I try to stick to 3 inches on the longer side as my minimum size but might occasionally go bigger if I find I can get away with it on a page without sacrificing the amount of stickers on there (I usually ideally try to fit 12 stickers on one A4 sheet).
Packaging size is also a limiting factor, so I'll be testing things out a little every so often, if that's ok!
