POLL - HUSH - Alternative Composition

Oh I like that, I didn't really see the pose as threatening until you described it that way. I want the final look to be slightly confused and tangled, and the message to be a little vague as I feel like communication is often that way between parties that don't try to understand each other, or are trying to silence each other. I love the idea of the strings being taught, but I didn't think of that when I created the piece so I would have wanted the hand pose to be more uncomfortable and tense if I had gone for that. I agree, I am very torn too, so I'm glad I have a scan of the no strings too, but I think I will be adding strings to the original :)

I read the loose strings as the hands are bound together, less manipulative. I wonder what the strings being pulled taught (pulling the hand in multiple directions/as if each hand is trying to manipulate the center hand) might look like.

I think the hands, in particular the two on the left side, are much more menacing without the strings. Their positioning reminds me of a spider threatening to pounce or a praying mantis.

I love the idea of the strings but i think that it looks so power full without them

I liked the original image with no strings BUT now watching it with the strings it adds character and looks very cohesive. So WITH STRINGS! 😁
