"NURTURE" Finished Painting!

Hi peeps,
How are you all?
I finished painting #2!
Here's "Nurture".
I was happy with "Nephila", and I am even happier with this one.
The direction I wanted to take value and colour-wise was unclear to me up until the very last minute, which could've gone quite badly, but it worked out better than I hoped.
I painting this one entirely in acrylics once again, but on proper watercolour paper this time, which made the process much smoother than for Nephila.
I can feel my style strengthening and defining itself in those last 2 paintings, with outlines, texture and high contrast as its main features, unsurprisingly.
I enjoy precisely defined lines and shapes, layered lights and darks.
You can find a few in-progress pictures below (sorry for the lighting, I work a lot in the evenings, which makes pictures more difficult to take), and I will share more in the future Process PDF of this piece.

I have decided to switch this piece with Nephila, so Nurture will be the October print and Nephila will be the September print.
