"The Key" Hand painting + Process GIF

Hey peeps,
Merry Monday!
I finished this piece last week, and put together a little process GIF for you, as I hadn't done so in a while. I think it only works on PC though, and not mobile, sorry...
The colours on the GIF are a little odd, as I forgot to calibrate the images before putting it together, but the scan is closer to reality.
I hope you like it!
And yes, I know, the keyhole is way too big for the key, but hey, it's a hand with a keyhole in it, so I think realism stopped having a say at some point, hahaha. T_T
Anywho, I hope you are well, and that the week ahead is full of promise for all of you.
It will be my birthday on Friday, I will be turning 28, which is a little crazy and very much strange, as I don't feel my age at all.
Tomorrow will also be the anniversary of my mother's death, which is always a fun time (she died very close to my 9th birthday, which always means that my bday is very bitter sweet, and spring always feels very strange to me.).
I received the most amazing present for Virginia, which kind of made me tear up a little, and really made my day that much more amazing, so thank you from the bottom of my heart Virginia, you are incredible.
I will probably take Friday off to celebrate with my boyfriend, which means I have TONS to do this week, so I better get back to it, but I hope you are all extremely well.
