The older I get the more I look like her, it's quite funny! I like it :) It's a nice link to her. I'm so sorry to hear about the abuse, thank you for sharing such a precious and difficult memory with us. Trees are strange entities, aren't they. So strong and big, and resilient, they feel solid and yet so quiet. I'm glad you had such a tree near you, at least he was a living being that could give you some sort of shelter during troubled times. Your friend Harvey has done an amazing job on the mini film It's fantastic and I think it really captures you and what you stand for not just through your art but as a person I can't believe how much you look like your mum (I hope you don't mind me saying that) I had a tree that sounds similar to the one you used to go in as a child (I was just into adulthood and had my own home with who woz my fiance at the time (it wozn't a healthy relationship and their woz abuse from several people at the time) On the days he would kick me out for doing something 'wrong' I would escape to my tree in the graveyard at the end of my street (I woz worried the other abusers at the time would find me while wondering the streets so I always went there (it woz a safe haven for me especially when I woz made to sleep outside as punishment (in the winter the tree Gave that little extra protection from the elements) Anyway Sorry that went dark fast The video is lovely and so glad Harvey woz able to make it with you as the star Thank you for sharing Love Lex and Co
