Hey peeps,
I don't know how many of you read my update post from last week (if you haven't, give it a peak, I ask you a bunch of questions about future posts and rewards ;), but in that post, I mention that I have recently been commissioned to create a video series by a big company.
Well, apparently the workshop was announced by the company online today, so I guess I can talk about it publicly now!
So, the company is Strathmore Papers, and they got in touch back in November 2017, asking if I would be interested in creating a 4 part video series on gouache for their website.
The (free) workshop will go live in September 2019, and each video will be around 15 to 20 mins in-depth dives into gouache tips and techniques.
You can see the 2019 workshop line-up here .
As I was the last artist contacted for the series so far, I don't have a clear course plan set up yet, but I will be putting that together very soon, and I'll keep you all updated, if you are interested.
Strathmore are sending me a bunch of their supplies to try out before I use them in the videos, and I received the paper shipment today! It's a really good range that I am excited to try out! I'll let you know what I think of them, and I hope you'll have a peak at the course once it's live! <3
