Hi peeps,
Here's "Autumn" for day 29. It was obviously heavily inspired from the time of year, haha, and from the gorgeous colours that have covered our garden. And from the view from my window.
I find Autumn beautiful, cosy, and inspiring, but also melancholic, and ever so slightly sad. I often feel a mixture of emotions during that time of year, and I'm sure I can't be the only one.
That season is the physical embodiment of everything I find fascinating about our world, this close, intimate, cohabitation between death and beauty, ending and renewal, uncertainty and rebirth. The world is full of paradoxes, and Autumn shows that so unabashedly, so fully, and in such a poetic way, that I could not not do a piece inspired by it, especially towards the end of this challenge.
In other news...
I have listed all my originals so far (except this one, haven't had the time yet) on my store, including all the reserved ones.
If you are one of the lovely people who reserved one, you can scroll all the way down to the end of the listings and you'll find your reserved original under your name!
Thank you to all of you that also purchased a booklet, the sale is going so well, and better than I was even hoping, so thank you so so so much!
Take care everyone,
M
