Hi everyone, 

Here are my drawings for days 27 and 28 :).
I'm on track to get Inktober finished this week!

These pieces are somewhat both about the expectations of others and how we can sometimes feel like how the world around us perceives us is more valid than how we think of ourselves. 

The Wishing Well is a mixture between the wishes of others having the ability to become overwhelming, and to make us forget who we would like to be ourselves, and our inclination towards putting unrealistic expectations on ourselves too. Our wishes for us as individuals can often be difficult to distinguish from what the people around us want from us, what they want to live through us, and, especially when it comes from loved ones, it can be hard to hear our own voice, or know what our own voice is, as it feels too closely tied into all the others voices surrounding us. 

The Gift to me talks about how we can feel stifled, and silenced, and invalidated in expressing our inner thoughts, but how restricting our fellow humans' voices is detrimental to the rest of us too, as we cannot begin to understand how the world is for others, if we don't let them express their experiences. It's a struggle tied into itself, with no party winning if they refuse to talk or to listen.

There are 150 Inktober 2018 booklets available, and 100 of the Inktober 2017 booklets also. 

All Inktober 2018 booklet pre-orders will get a postcard of Day 1 and a sticker.
The sticker design hasn't be decided on yet, and I will need your help, my lovely patrons, to choose, so keep an eye out for a poll soon!

There is also a listing for both booklets together, which saves you $4, but is limited to 20 spots for now. 

All $20 patrons who have been at that tier for more than 2 months will get a 2018 booklet. 

I don't have a precise release date yet for the booklets since I am still working on the last few drawings for 2018, but I am hoping to get them all done this month, so I can send every order before Christmas, and hopefully in time for it too.
