The red makes the ribbons look so much like blood...Not too much that it's confusing I hope...

No long post today as I'm not feeling very well and have tons of work to crack on with, but I hope you are all well lovelies <3

Next Day Update : So I worked on this piece a little bit more today because I felt like I'd posted it too quickly yesterday, since I was feeling unwell and the day was nearing its end.
The fact that the ribbons looked so much like blood really bothered me, so I went in and added a few loose ones, and worked more shadows and texture in there.

I think I want to introduce finer detail in my drawings from now on, and since that is tricky with brush pens, I have ordered a few red fineliners. I will still be primarily using brush pens, because that is the challenge I have set myself this month, and I am not one to give up just because I'm not super pleased with what I produce, but adding some fineliners to the mix will help me find this whole month a bit less stressful I think.

This week is a bit more packed than usual, if that's even possible, as I need to do a drawing in advance, or a couple even if I can, since I have a hen do this Saturday. and a wedding in a couple of weeks. I also have the 2 videos a week to make each week, and the sale to sort out, as well as patreon rewards, and a shop update, so wish me luck, hahaha.
