So a curious question

So just a quick question for you all.
So as some of you may noticed YouTube’s changed a whole lot over the past two years and flexibility of content is very difficult even within your niche. I am sure many of you have noticed your favorite asmr creators doing versions of the same few types of vids because not only is YouTube huge. But the ASMR space has grown a ton, so if you don’t feed the algo you go nowhere.
And this sucks lol, but it is reality. I miss making some of the more creative vids the wizard doc. More horror vids. Hell even like guided meditation and simple trigger or trigger only videos. I like making a variety of stuff, but it’s hard to when you know as a creator YouTube won’t show it.
So my thinking is either opening the 5$ tier back up and doing 1-2 Patreon exclusive asmr vids. These would be non spicy vids, and the tier would have everything in the tier below it and the 10$ tier would also get all benefits, but I want to make some asmr vids not just med ones. So let me know what you think.

Yeah, the algorithm is very harsh and blunt. I think you probably need a mix of the "old faithfuls" and more different content? One to bring in new people, and another to consolidate and retain the audience you already have? IDK

2024-02-07 21:37:27 +0000 UTC1000 times yes. I loved when you did the horror, and vampire roleplays, but I understood that the medical roleplays were the ones that paid off more. Honestly, you had me at guided meditations lol. If anyone can pull off variety content, it's definitely you.

YouTube as much as all the gurus say you gotta find your audience. You also gotta feed the algo. So I want my audiences input here. Plus I love making other not medical asmr vids

You are great at what you do, but you also must enjoy what you are doing. Thank you for being considerate of what others think and want.
