Inches or "A" sizes for prints?
Added 2018-04-26 11:10:31 +0000 UTCHi all,
I have a quick question for you!
Regarding prints, do you tend to prefer the measurements to be in inches (5x7, 8x11...etc...), or in "A" sizes (A4, A3...etc...)?
Comments
They are more common in the Eu, for sure
2018-05-04 08:11:56 +0000 UTCThat would make processing too complicated and very very time-consuming, especially when I have a lot of orders, unfortunately T_T
2018-05-04 08:11:38 +0000 UTCMaybe list both measurement variations side by side?
2018-05-04 00:55:17 +0000 UTCI never heard of "A" Sizes before... I'm in the U.S.
2018-05-04 00:54:31 +0000 UTCThere are definitely not standard in Canada, but they are the standard here in Europe. Although you are right that inches are more standard for art sizes and framing, even here. I think I will keep to inches for now. Thanks for your input Taylor ^^
2018-05-02 09:31:00 +0000 UTCPerhaps I just don't see A sizes very much, but I am nearly clueless with them! Here in Canada - at least in my case - I see inches used more with print measurements and framing. I understand why people might like A sizes, but keeping it in inches might keep things simple; that is, many people won't be scrambling to figure out what the new sizes are.
2018-05-02 03:40:40 +0000 UTCGood to know! I might keep them in inches then, as, although people seem to prefer A sized because they understand what size that is better, I'd rather make is easier for people to frame their work without having to get a custom frame done. Thanks for the feedback!

2018-04-26 22:03:44 +0000 UTCEven in the UK?
2018-04-26 21:58:22 +0000 UTCInches becoz frames tend to come in inches not A4 A3 sizes and I would be framing my pieces
2018-04-26 18:03:31 +0000 UTCYeah, inches is clearer for me!
