Next Big Piece : Thumbnails + Update

How are you doing?

I hope you are all doing well, and hopefully enjoying a little sunshine. 

I just got back from France, and am now trying to catch up on all the work I couldn't do while I was there. 

Keep reading for a few updates and what's in store, but first, I wanted to share with you some thumbnails for my next big painting!

I'll be honest, I am heavily leaning towards the fourth image, the kiss. It feels less violent than my earlier concepts, and more layered in meaning. Does that make sense? 

I am excited to start working on its final composition and start painting it!

Now for a quick general update and a little sneak-peak at what's in store for May!

Printer and Patreon Tiers Changes News : 

• I have finally bought the printer, and it should be arriving tomorrow (I'm so excited)! I also bought a few sample packs of paper, so I will be trying them out and deciding which ones are best suited to my work as things progress. That means that anyone subscribing to the print a month tiers will have a few different papers in the first few months, haha. 
• I should really be updating all the new tiers before May, but I want to make sure the printer works before, and this week is going to be absolutely crazy, so I don't know if I'll manage to launch the new rewards in time for the 1st of May so as to activate the prints a month for that month, but we'll see. It might be that I'll update the tiers next week, which means it would all come into full force after the cards are charged in June. Damn, this can be confusing at times, haha. 
•  I will have a sale in a couple of weeks to celebrate the new printer, it will probably be 20% off, with an added 5% for Patrons (your monthly codes will be deactivated for the duration of the sale so as not to make things confusing, and you will all be given a 25% discount code for the sale). 

May Extras : 

All the official rewards will be uploaded in the first two weeks of May, but as those of you who have been with me for the last couple months know, I also like to upload a bunch of extras every so often, and here's what you can expect to see this month (hopefully!) : 

• I did a few still-life object studies while in France, from objects that my step-mum collects (you might've seen them on Instagram), and you guys will get an exclusive timelapse of one of them that won't be shown anywhere else, as well as another one as a real-time video. 
• I also painted a more complex still-life, that I will also upload on here. 
• I'll show you my failed attempts at painting in real-life in the forest. XD
• You will get first dibs on my studies once they go on sale.
• I will be uploading a bunch of downloadable royalty-free reference pictures I took while home, including photos of the objects I myself did studies of!
• I need to design myself a new batch of business cards, and you will be privy to my designs and I'll need your help choosing final concepts. 
• I will hopefully manage to paint those hands you guys voted on, and if they turn out well, they might be included in the next sticker design vote. I will also hopefully do some heart paintings in the same vein. And you will obviously get first dibs on any of those small paintings once they go on sale.
• I will continue doing a 20min portrait as often as possible, and posting the occasional timelapse on here. 
• I have nearly finished writing my Hands tutorial, and it is going to be quite long and thorough, so I'm not actually sure when I'll manage to finish it, but you will obviously get to see it first!
• I have so many ideas for paintings that I'll hopefully have a bunch of sketches and wips to show you as time goes on!

That's all I can think of for now, but you know me, I'll probably come up with odd bits and bobs as days go by!

PS : I have ordered the giveaway prints, so I'm hoping to get those sent out next week, as by that time I will hopefully have received the batch of Baby Pink Stickers I ordered! Every giveaway winner will receive a sticker, and the rest will go on my shop.
