Yup, just checked on chatgpt, aparently those are recent restrictions are not just to japanese plataforms, most are being affected by that because of not the plataforms themselves but restrictions on mastercard and visa themselves about payments for nsfw stuff. The plataforms that aren't being affect justa aren't being affected yet or are ignoring the restrictions. Thats a huge L for Mastercard and Visa.

2024-11-19 21:53:07 +0000 UTCAparently japanese plataforms are being prohibited from accepting non japanese mastercards or something like that, at least fantia bother explaining, the suport from pixiv fanbox didn't even bother give that explanation. Aparently thats why my fanbox is not accepting my card too since somewhen during october, they just didn't bother update the site to not let international mastercards from non japan be used aparently. But i'm not sure since i managed to suport a pixiv fanbox creator's that dors pgr too in an alternate support plataform called "azz.ee", at least it worked and it least it worked fine with taking eur converted to yen from my mastercard like fanbox did when it worked for me.

I haven't been able to suport anyone on fanbox since it hsppened to me. But works fine on other plataform, and the suport does not even care. They just say "Use another card".
