This or That and new equipment

Hope you are well. In this video I add another installment to the "This or That series. What makes this video a bit different is the fact that I am using a new piece of equipment to make it. I have added a microphone preamp that is a full-featured Channel Strip Processor! This is supposed to give me studio-quality audio. I took the device out of the box and with not much experimentation, I went ahead and made this video to test it. This was a "first run" and over time I will learn the ins and outs of using it. I can tell a difference, and the best thing so far, is that I didn't have to spend hardly any time massaging the audio in post processing as I have had to do in the past.
One thing I am counting on this device doing for me is to make my "s" sounds less harsh, as it has what is called a de-esser built into it. I'll eventually learn the best setting for it, as well as the best settings for everything else in my environment.
Obtaining this device was made possible by your patronage, and I hope that you'll see the payoff in future videos once I learn which of my microphones works best with it and how to adjust everything.

Another great relaxing video and congrats on your new equipment, although I never noticed that your s's were harsh. I do have an issue sometimes as a light sleeper when I find myself awakened by the music at the end of the video. If you feel it's a must, can the volume be turned down a little? Thank you for your dedication to our rest!
