Help me decide if I should post this
Added 2018-05-18 11:06:43 +0000 UTCWhile in Atlanta recently, I filmed a few scenes at the cemetery and decided to make a life-lessons video with the footage. The problem is that I'm not so sure I should post it for everyone to see because some viewers might become anxious or depressed when they see a cemetery. Could you view this and tell me your thoughts please?

I like to go visit one when I am feeling lost and disconnected from my ancestors. None of mine are buried where I am. I got to visit one in Colorado a few years ago to visit my maternal grandfather (mom was really needing her dad and we were there in the area for the funeral of her sister). Dad also would take us to visit old cemeteries on trips even if we had no relatives in them. We would look at the stones and ponder the histories of people at rest and what legacy we ourselves might leave before we leave our own bodies behind. My own father is cremated and I have some of his ashes with me. So perhaps my view of cemeteries is different from the mainstream. But again, I think it is worth posting. There may be someone out there that needs this.

2018-05-18 20:02:07 +0000 UTCI think it would be good to post, but that said I don't have any negative emotional responses to cemeteries, and in fact find them somewhat interesting and peaceful and I suppose "relaxing" to the extent that anything peaceful is relaxing. But I know some people do, in fact I recently visited New Orleans and was probably more interested in visiting on of the unique cemeteries there.. on the other my traveling companion was definitely not and considered the idea a bit morose.... Still, I think your disclaimer would be sufficient to direct the uninterested away, and it could be a very good video for those who have a neutral or even calming response to cemeteries, like me..

Itโs your sense of humanity and your connection to the whole range of our experiences (yes, that even includes mortality) that elevates your feed from the relatively interchangeable sea of other channels of people crinkling papers at the camera.
