Truly she’s being quite mature, intelligent, and realistic about her situation. One way or another when bidding closes, her body will belong to one of the many bidders in the crowd and her new owner will be legally entitled to use their property as they deem fit. A non-negligible number of these bidders may be looking to fill their gut with fresh elf meat. One way or another she is getting sold, and her body put to use. The only modest power she has over her fate is to show herself off and make a compelling argument her body will be more enjoyable in their bed than their belly.
