Let's Play, pg. 1

Hello Everyone!

I'm happy to say that this is the first "page" of my new original comic, "Let's Play".  I'm going to start posting the pages here for a while and use you guys as "guinea pigs" before I release the comic to the public.  Any feedback (rants, raves, etc.) you have, please feel free to leave in the comments.  I want this comic to be good and I would love to have your guys' opinions on how it's going.

A few things I should point out:

- This story will be a romcom (romance/comedy).  If I had to classify it in terms of manga romance, I would say it's a josei comic with hints of a reverse harem and a supporting protagonist.

- The story will be centered heavily on gaming.  So if you have never gamed in your whole life, there might be a bit of confusion.  But I'll try to put definitions in the borders if need be.

- This comic will be in the mobile, "vertical" format.  The font will be bigger, panels will be larger, and instead of cramming everything in an A4 page, it will be set up for downward scrolling.  This format has become very popular as of late, and I'm going to give it a shot.

- For the lineart of the backgrounds I'll be using Google Sketchup Make.  I'm going to take a page out of the Korean webcomics and use their technique for generating backgrounds.  It's not because I can't draw these backgrounds unaided, but because I'll be releasing approximately 8 pages a week and will need Sketchup to be the work-horse in order to save me some time.  I also got the idea from talking to a few chaps at my lastest comicon when they told me they also use Google Sketchup for backgrounds in order to save time (deadlines can be a BEAST).  If you guys want a tutorial on this or know who I go about doing it, just let me know and I could put one together for you.

That being said, I hope you guys enjoy the comic!  I can't make any promises on when the next pages will be ready for release, but I'll post them here as soon as they're ready.  <3
