NOTE: Sorry it's been a long time on this story.
Whenever we get to a more 'intense' scene, especially when I plan on it having some action, I always feel like 'it's not good enough' and feel like it's really hard to write.

1. Okay, I need feedback on this chapter. Did it feel intense? (the attack, etc.) Was it lacking? (If I'm going to make improvements, it's better if I 'do that now' rather than do it later after, I've written a few more chapters. Trying to aim for a good 'build-up' in tension here. Let me know!)

2025-08-18 03:30:21 +0000 UTCThis chapter and the chapters to follow are very exciting, you have me on the edge of my seat. No issue with the chapters' intensity. I think you are on par. It makes sense that he would be the one to be able to make use of the magical bow, having the necessary strength to string and draw it. While they had some arrows made for it, will its ability be to produce magical arrows each time it is drawn? Maybe the arrows it produces are influenced by the elemental alignments of the wielder. eg. flame, light, ice, electric, metal (earth), etc? Would be cool if his new transform shape was similar to Kai's. Giant humanoid with horns and wings. Perhaps not as demonic looking, wings could be feathered like a crow and not bat like. Or even as an idea, this might be an imagination stretch. He and Wren could combine into something spectacular, a single entity, almost like combined robotic transformers. And due to being combined, so to do their distinct magical abilities and possibly different elemental alignments, allow for entirely new spells of enormous power. Creating a creature with even more abilities because it has these extra elemental alignments. Albeit only temporarily while joined. Does the idea have potential? And with Wren being a catalyst in turning them into shape changers, the more of them, the bigger and more powerful the joined transform creature could become. Or not, my imagination tends to run away with me sometimes. :D
