Progress Report Week 36

Because this post will contain the second part of the Q&A, this post will also be a bit longer

Sweet Affection 0.10.11

But first things first, let's talk about the 0.10.11 update.

I've spent every day until today creating all the art for Jane's planned events.
I managed to finish all of that today, but... oh boy. I certainly overdid it again.

With 1.200+ Images and 10 animations, there is going to be a LOT of content for Jane.
For the next 6/7 days, I'll be writing about all of those events.

After which my focus will turn toward Sarah & Shannon their planned events.
At this stage, everything is still going according to schedule so I'm happy. :)

Definitely going to be a long month and it's definitely going to be a BIG update.
An early release seems very unlikely though.
But more information about that in the coming weeks.

Q&A Part 2

Now, for the second part of the Q&A.
(You can find the first part in the Q&A of Week 35)

4. When are you going to develop the other side characters.

As mentioned before, when Sarah & Shannon reach their ending levels, the development cycle will change.

Month 1: Sarah & Shannon
Month 2: 2 Side Characters (One higher level + one lower level.)
Month 3: Sarah & Shannon combined with time off. (So, smaller update.)

The first Month 2 will most likely be Sidney + Eve or Hazel.

That cycle will either start in December 2024 or January 2025.

5. What about Private Community?

Private Community is still very much on my mind.

Not a week goes by without me thinking about it and wishing I would be able to work on it.
Because of the lack of assets, my aim was first to re-create the game as best as possible once Sweet Affection is finished and go from there.

However, at this stage so much time has gone by that using those same kind of assets would already be very much outdated the moment I would start.

So, my goal right now is to recreate Private Community with modern assets as close as possible.
Characters will most likely not be 100% accurate to their original. Still, I think making it more modern would give the game a better chance to be successful.

My goal is to start the development of that project the minute I'm done with the development of Sweet Affection.

It is going to happen, that is 100% sure. I'm now just waiting for the moment I can do so. :)

6. Are you still looking to hire someone.

Definitely, yes.

But because I'm currently still in the same financial position, I can't afford to pay anyone.
I haven't reached out to anyone or made a public post about it.
Simply because I feel bad asking people to work for free.

However, I am currently looking for two positions.

1. Someone that has experience working in Honey Select 2 (Neo).

2. Someone that can help me with promoting Naughty Attic Gaming. (Discord, Social Media, Patreon, Subscribestar, Forums, Etc.)

7. Is there going to be something like Sweet Affection 2 or it'll be last game?

Like I mentioned above, once Sweet Affection is finished I want to start developing Private Community.

However, this time I don't want to focus on one game.
I'd like to alternate between two games.

One made with Daz/Blender.
One made with Honey Select 2

A continuation of Sweet Affection is not likely though.
I want to tell and finish all their stories in the current game.

However, a game in the same universe with other characters is a valid option.
But because Private Community will be a romantic/sweet game just like Sweet Affection is.
There is also a chance that I might go for a different direction for the second game.

However, we are still some ways away from that.
For now, my full focus is still on Sweet Affection. :)
