Progress Report Week 11

Let's start with the good news, right away.
I'm feeling better again and have been fully back at work for a couple days now. :)

Sweet Affection 0.10.5

I managed to get back to work this Wednesday after staying in bed for a good week.
I did take it easy for the first 2 days to ease myself back into it but I have been firing on all cylinders since Friday.
And unless something happens in the next 10 days, I'm confident that I can deliver all the promised Sarah & Shannon content for this update.

I should be able to finish all the remaining art for Shannon her planned events, today.
Meaning I will get started on writing all the events, tomorrow.
Which will likely take me about 7 or 8 days.
Leaving us enough time to code & Beta-test everything as well as make all the builds and upload them.

Unfortunately though, as I mentioned last week.
I won't be able to implement the Donna & Rose diary pages, this month.
My goal now is to either implement them this summer or in the next Donna & Rose update.
Not quite sure about that yet, but I'll let everyone know the moment I make a decision about that.

April & May updates.

As I said last week, I would come with a definitive plan for the next 2 months as well.
Losing a week of development time really messed up my entire schedule.
A week worth of time that I really needed this month to get started on Laura her level 4 content.
Without that time, I'm not confident that I'll be able to finish the update in time.

The original plan was.

April : Sarah & Shannon Level 10 Content + Laura Level 4.
May : Sarah & Shannon Level 10 Content + Time Off ( Small update)
June : Sarah & Shannon Level 10 Content (Normal update.)
Juli : Sarah & Shannon Level 10 Content + Side Character Update.

I have been doubting between 2 choices in the past week.
1. Try and follow the original plan, postpone Laura's content to June if I'm not able to finish the work in time. (June because I would be taking time off in May.)

2. Switch May and April around.
Not only giving me the confidence that I'm able to produce all the promised content.
But I also feel like I could use a short break after being sick.

And after talking with my team, I decided to go with option 2.

But, in short.

April : Sarah & Shannon Level 10 Content + Time Off ( Small update)
May : Sarah & Shannon Level 10 Content + Laura Level 4.
June : Sarah & Shannon Level 10 Content (Normal update.)
Juli : Sarah & Shannon Level 10 Content + Side Character Update.

I'm not sure yet when exactly I'll be taking time off, but I'll provide more information on that, next week.
An early release doesn't seem likely for this month.
But I'll also be able to provide more information on that, next week.

Either way, there will be an update every single month like you are used to. :)
But my apology to everyone that has been looking forward to new Laura content.
This way, I'm sure I can produce 4 quality updates instead of having to rush content or push myself too far.
