Progress Report / Changelog Update 0.7.9

Update 0.7.9 is being uploaded right now as we speak, because of the numerous builds though, it will take some time before all the uploads are finished.                                                 

But we are confident that we can post the links in about 12 to 14 hours from this post. (Between 08:00 and 10:00 CEST)

A couple of notes that we wanted to share with all of you beforehand though, as well as the change-log that will be at the bottom of this message.

1. As most of you know, a lot has happened this month regarding Sweet Affection. Apart from the change in creator pages, how we get the build ready also completely changed                                                                                                                                                             

Boom had his own way of getting the builds ready, compressed, and uploaded.

But unfortunately, we as a team didn't know anything about that process, so we had to start with an entirely new clean build, find out the perfect compressions and best ways to upload everything, and just get everything working in general.

Now, I'm happy to say that we managed to lower the HQ build from 14GB to 9GB without any loss in quality, and the game even seems to run a bit smoother now.

But, the bad news is because all those things changed, we decided that we won't post any patches this update.                                                                                                                                        

The risk of anything breaking and not working well with older builds is too big.     But we are planning on bringing the patches back with the 0.8.0 update.                               

 (save compatibility is no issue, everything should work as normal)

2. The spy cams for level 7 won't be added to the gallery this update.                                         

We tried everything to implement them, but because of the above and making sure everything else worked normally, we didn't have enough time to implement it fully.           

They will work completely fine in the game itself though.                                                             

But they will be added to the gallery in the 0.8.0 Update.

3. The plan that we made to implement more M&S content after the 0.7.9 update is still a plan that we are going to follow. 

(More M&S content, but also still a decent amount of side character content each update.)
