This show is very deliberate. If they show you something, you better believe it has so much thought behind it. For example, if you rewatch the season, you’ll notice that during a wellness session, Ms Casey tells Irv that his outie likes the sound of Radar... and then seven episodes later, you find out his dog is named Radar. That’s a small detail, but it’s deliberate.
At the same time, they also plant clues for bigger stuff, like the fact that Helly's outie is someone important: Milchick focusing on her during the photo sessions, the board and Natalie freaking out when they discover her innie tried to hang herself on Cobel's watch, Milchick telling Helena on 1x2 they’re so grateful she’s coming to the severed floor, etc.
Nothing is random. Whether it’s something subtle like the Irving moment or something massive like the Helena reveal, it’s all carefully placed. The show seems to reveal stuff slowly because it actually respects you. It doesn’t spoon feeds you, It gives you a ton, but it takes time and context for it all to click.
This is an extraordinary show with a phenomenal season two, and without a doubt one of the best season finales I’ve ever seen. Yeah, even better and much more crazier than season one. Can’t wait to see your next reactions.
