Comments

For the Nolanites: https://www.indiewire.com/gallery/christopher-nolan-favorite-movies/

Jared M

You good dude? Spend some time thinking about important things. You're thinking too hard about..well? Nothing really.

Tyler Bellows

Yay another reaction channel that watches the EXACT SAME MOVIES AS EVERY OTHER REACTION CHANNEL. Yay. The truth is that reaction fans hate new things. They want to watch the exact same movies. Same shows and never watch anything unique. They move from one reaction channel to the next making sure that no reaction channel will ever be unique. One day reaction channels might even help showcase shows or movies w/o a lot views. Or they might become illegal because it is clearly theft. One day young people will be working at streaming services and stop all of these channels. It is just a matter of time.

Good call

Becca

Usual suspects

Imoldgreg1977

While they are all good, Spielberg and Scorsese are far beyond just about any other producers/directors. If you look at the number of the best films ever made- the 2 of them are behind more than 75% of them. The others are great, don’t get me wrong. They’ve just been able to do it more times and with more success than almost anyone. So if you choose one of them, you’ll probably need to pick the best 5 or something. And I’ll bet ya that Mrs. O will like Spielberg movies the best- she will love that sweet feels moment he has in sooo many of his film. He’s really good at that.

Becca

Pans is one of the Greats!

Andres

Since watching your HP 20th anniversary reaction, I would suggest the movie Die Hard to see Alan Rickman in the role that got him noticed for the part of Snape. Also, Chris Columbus, director of the first two also made the first two Home Alone movies, Mrs. Doubtfire, and a very under rated movie called Bicentennial Man, about a robot trying to become human.

Peter K

Christopher nolan > everybody else

Tyler Bellows

"Catch me if you can" by Spielberg. DiCaprio and Tom Hanks in the main roles.

Kim Ronny Nilsen

Edgar Wright

Christian

ah yes. I thought i wrote Usual, pardon.

AshlynTargaryen

So, ya' think ya' got enough to keep ya' busy 'til the baby arrives?

Jim Schmitz

Yes. The Monsterverse is a love letter to the Showa era of Godzilla movies(1954-1974). They start off serious then go full tilt bonkers and I love every minute of it!

Steven Jump

David Fincher has my favorite films. Y'all should do 2 movies from each filmmaker every week until the syrup runs out.

Andres

I just need to say I 2nd this comment so hard please do i love godzilla xd... I've never even commented before but I gotta here

Goodno Goodno

and del Toro would be a good addition to this list.

Jim Schmitz

And with a lesser-known score by John Williams that I love, a must-see (please)

Jim Schmitz

that's who im putting on next poll if Nolan wins we only have 4 videos bc we watched Interstellar and the Batman's

Mr. October

We do, too, especially with you guys.

Jim Schmitz

They’re gonna do the DCEU after watching the original Donner Superman movies

TC24

I hope you guys get into Legendary's Monsterverse. Godzilla, Kong Skull Island, Godzilla King of the Monsters, Godzilla vs Kong, Monarch Legacy of Monsters (series) and Godzilla x Kong The New Empire. A 2nd season of Monarch is coming as is another movie. My fingers are crossed!

Steven Jump

If Fincher isn't winning then it *needs* to be Speilberg. 2024 is his 50th anniversary as a director. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMf7hgmR0Ck

Jared M

If Dune confused them, Tenet will drive them crazy!

Peter K

isn't it the 'Usual' Suspects? And yes, it is a must see...Kaiser Sosa rocks!

Peter K

Coen Brothers?

Jean Choi

Ok I kinda miss Stanley Kubrick in this list. Full metal Jacket, Clockwork Orange, 2001, Shining are all fire :)

Boerben

Gotta be Nolan

Nick

They’re all great, so you should do a few from all of them!

Rigo

The only two films they need to watch in order to understand what James Gunn and Peter Safran are cooking up are THE Suicide Squad and Blue Beetle. There’s also two certain shows they would need to watch. I’m not gonna say what they’re called because that would be spoiling, but they’re a lot of fun and I feel like they would enjoy them.

Aldo Gonzales

Maybe they can do a poll of which ones are worth watching, there’s a lot of flops in there.

jenna marie

Omg yes they have to react to the trilogy!!

Sarah Wevers

I’m partial to James Cameron because of the Avatar films (I’m aware he’s not on the list)

Mikala B

Have you seen Titanic? Epic film, top 5 for me 🥹

Melanie Vine

Lucky Number Slevin, The Unusual Suspects, The Fifth Element

AshlynTargaryen

Yes yes Coen.

Everett Nation

sounds like they really need to react to Tenent so we can see if they also think its a miss. thanks for the suggestion!

hashpipe

Gotta watch Avatar 2009

Arinze Nwigwe

I think you'd love ready player one which is why I voted Spielberg

Matthew Walls

Just a suggestion, if you really need movies, take a look at the IMDB top 100 movies. You have already done some from the top 100, so maybe you could look at a few more. Here is a link to the list: https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?groups=top_100&sort=user_rating,desc

Peter K

I'd like them to do the DCEU films (including Gunn's Suicide Squad) so they have something to compare the new DCU films to.

Chase Schleich

Coen always gets autocorrected to Cohen for me unless I go back to fix it

Jared M

Team Fincher forever. He’s the most consistent other than Spielberg.

Jared M

Can't go wrong with any of them. Since Nolan is winning, the only one of his films I'd say to avoid is Tenent. All his movies are great, but that one was just a miss.

Chase Schleich

we don't really choose the comic stuff I think it chooses us via patreon lol, we sometimes don't even know they are based on comics. but loved him in Batman so that would be a great watch!

Mr. October

Please watch rise of the planet of the apes if you havent.

Klaus

You mean Coen brothers

Peter K

yes I will add the Cohen brothers bc you're the second person to suggest, they will be next poll although I do believe we have watched something from them, cannot remember what at this exact moment!

Mr. October

Yay Christopher Nolan is winning so far! Mwahaha

Josh Viz

I get that y'all tend toward more comic-book-y stuff... but if you're ever in the mood for an inspirational yet tearjerkin' tale of a lost kid in World War II, check out Steven Spielberg's EMPIRE OF THE SUN (1987). Christian Bale played the lead. He was 13 years old. His talent was apparent even then. Don't watch a trailer, just go in blind.

AuntVes

Still wish you’d do the Fargo series and movie if you haven’t seen it. The series is full of nods to other Cohen brothers movies also if you’re familiar with them.

Everett Nation

Obviously we gotta suggest Star Wars. I also wanna nominate Free Guy, James Gunn’s Suicide Squad (so we can get you ready for his DC Universe), Kingsman, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (since you’ve seen Stranger Things).

Aldo Gonzales

Christopher Nolan 🔥 im hoping for Pan's labyrinth some day. About the best fantasy movie there is 🙏 from Guillermo del Toro.
