The Walking Dead Season 1 Episode 3 & 4!

Okay where the heck is Merle?

The Walking Dead Season 1 Episode 3 & 4!

Comments

The preacher (father Gabriel) comes into play in season 5 I believe it is. I started watching this show when season 3 premiered on TV and I have loved it ever since! Amazing show!!

Juan Chavez

I'm telling you, if this is you're kind of show, like you said, you are gonna LOVE Sons of Anarchy! It's such a good show with some really shocking moments.

Betwixt Tales

FYI- Lori did NOT volunteer Rick to go back to Atlanta. Everyone seems to misunderstand that scene. Look at her face and listen to the disgust in her tone. She’s not volunteering him- she’s pissed because she has already figured out that Rick intends to return for Merle. She’s saying out loud, like: “oh don’t worry- my husband is such a do-good we that even though it’s the apocalypse and we just got him back, my husband thinks he’s still a cop and that he is to save everyone and I’m pissed as hell that he isn’t choosing family over ‘the right thing’” That is what Lori was actually saying.

Becca

I think it’s amazing up until season 7 or so- then it’s still ‘just’ good. The last season or two are the only ones that were ‘so-so’, IMO.

As an older woman, mom, wife, etc.- I find Lori to be the most identifiable. People rag on her, but anyone who has ever been in extreme life or death situations know that time is relative. She thought her husband was dead and the freaking works collapsed. She’s alone with a child to care for. Her husbands oldest and dearest friend is the to take care of her… If you can’t understand that, then your are either very young or have not had to deal with extreme situations. I’m not she’s perfect. I’m saying she’s normal. Like, in many cultures in history, if a woman was left alone like that it would be the brother (best friend, in this case) of her dead husband who would take in the mantle of responsibility for her. Often, meaning, marrying her. This is not about dating or liking someone or any other sweet cute emotion- it’s about life and death. There is a reason so many babies are born 9 months after a war ends- people having sex as a way to feel alive, love, pleasure, - to feel good and human- is one the oldest reactions in human - or animal- culture. Anyway, this is one of my favorite shows. I’m so glad y’all are watching it!!

Becca

This show just keeps getting interesting & interesting. I’m on season 4 right now & I feel like I’m at the peak of the show. A lot of people was telling me season 2 was the peak of the show but every season after it so far is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Love this show

Sassy monster

I totally see your point of view...but Shane wasn't married, she was. Not to excuse his behavior at all, he was abhorrent. I've seen men and women attempting to sleep with their friend's spouses over the years, the real difference in whether or not they do, is how the spouse reacts to the attempt. There are people who will take advantage of a situation where someone married waivers in their commitment. Shane definitely did that. They're both at fault for sure, but she could have said no. He could've pursued a relationship with her forever and as long as she said no, it wouldn't have happened. Like Mr. O said, protecting her and Carl is one thing...having a sexual relationship is another. I think she used the emotional connection with Shane to deal with the perceived loss of her husband. I can see that happening easily. Actually, I have seen it with a good friend of mine. I had the hardest time understanding how she was even thinking about sex at that time. Honestly, I think I'm this way because my father was killed when I was 5 and my mother stayed single for a very long time. When I got older I asked her why? She said, "Marriage is a sacred bond joined by God and should never be taken lightly or for granted. Just because your Dad has passed, it doesn't mean my commitment has changed." Eventually, she grieved and moved on, but I always saw that as honorable. I may be old fashioned, but I think the responsibility of marriage belongs to the 2 people in it, no matter what outside forces try to invade it.

Ending was so cringe for season 1

ImHigh Sorry

I don't fault Lori as much as Shane. He lied about Rick, and took advantage of her. She had a little boy to protect in a zombie apocalypse and her husband's best friend is there to help, but he had a bigger agenda. Her anger toward him was her recognizing how he played her.

Peter K

Yep I love Norman reedus

Christina Connor

But the early episodes were written by the creator Robert Kirkwood, so he came from the source, and boy did he make a good choice adding him to the show.

Peter K

he knows very little about the show so I doubt he got that far. and he said "old" preacher FARMER guy.

Phil Tilly

Yeah I know. I just think it's completely unrealistic. Maybe not Superman so much, he is an alien but humans, even supes, aren't all good or all bad. Some situations call for a little "bad" behavior. I'm always willing to give it a try without preconceived opinions though.

Jessica Houser

I feel the same way about those Boy Scout type of superheroes but the world seems to love them

jenna marie

I think if you do Fantastic Beasts you should take a break from the HP world first and maybe do something else in between. You’ll probably appreciate them more if you’re not coming straight off HP and it’s less of a prequel and more of a completely different story in the same world, kind of like with HOTD and GOT. I know you got into HOTD right away because of the 2nd season so maybe consider if you liked doing it that way or if you would’ve preferred more time to digest before diving back in to that world. (I haven’t seen all of the Fantastic Beasts series so can’t speak on the quality)

jenna marie

Just to let you know in the comics the character Daryl didn’t exist

Christina Connor

On HP and going to offshoot movies, I knew from back in the day that JK Rowling went to great lengths to make sure the story was complete by the end of book 7. Back then she did not want sequels/prequels or any of that, but of course the mighty $$$ won her over and they came anyway. She put a lot more passion into the original series, and the offshoots are somewhat entertaining, but no where close to as good as the original saga. Just MHO...

Peter K

I never really even liked the walking dead. I just think it's so fun watching it with y'all!

Sintrell Walker

Yall gonna check out Bridgerton? I fell like Mrs o would love that show

ShittyShittyGameGang

I just wanted to say that Rick and Lori weren't separated that long....maybe 2 months give or take. How long did she wait before screwing his partner/best friend? I'm sorry but, if my husband is perceived to be dead....it'll take years to be with someone else, If I ever am. It's just hard to justify for me. Never cared for Lori because of it. Also, Ed....earned that ass whooping and more. Just saying.

Jessica Houser

Ya'll are freaking hilarious in the intro....haha! Definitely go see Grandma as much as possible....my Mamaw passed 2 years ago and my Granny this year. I'd give almost anything to be with them for the holidays. It's funny you say you flirt with her Grandma Mr. O, my goofy ass husband did the same thing with my Mamaw. I have tears in my eyes thinking about it. That'll be a happy, fun memory forever. My husband has older parents too, his Mom is 75 and his Dad passed in his 60s, all his siblings are much older and his Granny is 96! He just went to visit her last weekend.....she's never met me or our kids, we couldn't afford to go together but at least he's got to go with his brother. It's probably an unpopular opinion, but I don't care much for the moral supes like Superman and Captain America. I catch hell from my husband because I prefer the ones that are willing to do dirty shit. Just the facts. I am a felon, so I can relate to doing questionable things I guess...haha Lol. But, I'm going to watch Superman with ya'll, with an open mind...maybe my opinion will change. Honestly, I haven't hated any of the DC movies I've seen so I'll probably enjoy it. I totally watch Ash and Hannah in between your stuff...they're hilarious too! Also, Mrs. O I can completely understand the exhaustion with all the nudity....Gen V doesn't have as much as the Boys or Game of Thrones though....it's a great show that leads into Season 4 of the boys. Just a shit ton of gore. I'm glad you're feeling better! Woohoo! Thank God! Thanks for putting in work for these reactions! I know it's rough but we love em! See you on the next one! Love ya'll! ❤️😃

Jessica Houser

Mrs O would look like Ricky Bobby on her own channel just looking at the camera like "👐that movie...was real good...👐"

ShittyShittyGameGang

And Sophia...

ShittyShittyGameGang

I thought he was talking about the father in season 5.

Mike

I assume the old preacher guy u are referring to is Hershel from season 2. He lives on a farm but he isn’t a preacher, he’s just pretty religious.

Phil Tilly

it is

samgoodfield

If I’m not mistaken, the quarry in EP 3 and the start of EP 4 was the same one in Stranger Things.

Mike

Poor Carol, her husband probably abused her for a long time.
